I had a an excellent day on Sunday running a photography course in the New Forest with a really nice group of photographers. This is one of my more popular photography location courses because the New Forest is just such a beautiful place. These dates are often the ones that become fully-booked very early on in the year.
The weather was really good with a mix of sunshine, blue skies and cotton wool clouds. We used three different locations, high heathland, a winding river and a pine forest which gave everyone different photographic challenges at each location.
Because the New Forest is so varied the photographic potential is huge. From close-up detailed shots, to wide angle landscape images, there is something for everyone; and of course the New Forest ponies may amble past your lens at any time!
The number of students on this landscape photography workshop like others is limited to no more than five at a time which means I can individually tailor everyone’s learning experience. Everyone can perfect their photography skills in a relaxed atmosphere at their own pace. All levels of photographer’s ability are catered for on this landscape photography course from beginners to more advanced photographers.
After trying out many new techniques and working on their composition I dropped everyone back to their cars in Lyndhurst at the end of the day. As always, everyone was sent through their notes about what they had learned during the day so that they can read and remember and retain all the information.
