Individual Photography Tuition – £165.00 for the day
For those students who feel that they would like to spend a day having individual photography tuition rather than learning in a small group, I offer my one-to-one photography training day. This will provide you with an individual, personal learning course allowing you to take full advantage of our one-to-one teaching programme. Learning new things whilst having fun at the same time is fantastic, and with our one-to-one photography tuition day you will do just that! Our one-to-one tuition will provide you with an array of knowledge and skills as you progress through your photography. Having developed over 25 years of skills and experience as a professional photographer, Steve Hedges is by far the photographer to call on for professional and effective learning!
These photography training course days can be structured to cover any photographic subjects you wish to concentrate on from the basic camera controls, photographic composition, the use of light and colour, creative use of shutter and aperture, to more specialised areas of photography such as portraiture, studio lighting, wildlife photography, macro photography and product/still life photography. The locations we use for our one-to-one (or indeed one-to-two – see below) photography training days are in the Essex area, Suffolk or London.
If you are interested in wildlife photography for instance, there are a number of very good nature reserves that can be visited – depending on the time of year. We would concentrate on techniques relevant to perfecting your skills and knowledge of wildlife photography. If, on the other hand you are interested in studio photography you would learn how to set up studio lights and lighting ratios, what type of lighting set-ups suit each particular subject, composition, also what type of background to use. My one-to-one days are a mix of theory and practical tuition which means you will have lots of time to to practice each technique yourself.
Catering For All
All levels of ability are catered for on our one-to-one photography tuition courses. Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to move on from “automatic mode” and learn how to use your camera more creatively, or indeed are a more experienced photographer that wishes to improve your photography techniques and improve your photographer’s eye, we can provide the perfect photography training day for you. If you wish to focus on how to create atmospheric black and white images, we can tailor your day to reflect your particular interests. Just let us know your requirements.
The cost of a full day’s one-to-one photography tuition is from: £165.00 If you interested in a “One-to-two” photography tuition day (very popular with couples or friends for instance) the cost for this is £225.00 for the day.
After completion of the course a full set of notes will be emailed to you detailing all the relevant subjects covered during the day.
