London Photography Course
This full day (over seven hours of tuition) London cityscape photography training course is ideal for photographers who prefer a more urban environment to learn and perfect new photography techniques.
The south bank of the Thames is one of my favourite parts of London as it offers a wide variety of subjects upon which a photography student can hone their camera skills. Whether you are an avid digital photographer or prefer to stick with film camera, this photography training course has something to offer all photography students from beginners to more advanced levels of experience.
This photography training workshop usually starts from St. Paul’s cathedral. From here we cross the Millennium bridge (great views of St. Paul’s) to the south bank of the Thames.
The rest of the day is spent honing your photography skills on many great subjects such as the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, H.M.S. Belfast and Tower Bridge. We sometimes take a detour into the city of London to photograph the fantastic skyscrapers which have been springing up over the years.
Once the course is completed I will send all students a full set of notes relevant to all the subjects covered during the course. I think the notes are important because it’s really hard to retain all the information we are given. The notes act as a good memory jog which helps each student get the best from their tuition.
MEETING POINT : ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
There are often many street entertainers along the south bank. They make great subjects for street photography and that “human interest” image.
Although the walking involved during this photography tuition workshop is of a fairly gentle nature, a reasonable level of fitness is required.
The number of students on my London cityscape photography course is limited to no more than five at a time which means I can get around to everyone and personally tailor their learning experience.
