Photography Training in Brecon Beacons, South Wales
The Brecon Beacons in South Wales have everything you could possibly want in a landscape photography training course. It is a stunning location packed with mountains, lakes, rivers and beautiful, thunderous waterfalls.
All aspects of photography skills are covered over the course of this three-day landscape photography workshop, from composition, creative use of shutter speeds and aperture, direction and quality of light, use of photographic filters, histograms (digital users), camera controls, accurate exposure readings and most importantly: how to develop your photographer’s eye.
MEETING POINT : we will meet in the town of Brecon each morning before heading off to various locations in the National Park.
A fairly good level of fitness is required for this three-day landscape photography workshop but the exercise will be well rewarded with a host of fantastic viewpoints.
This photography training course is limited to a maximum of five students. This means I can tailor the learning experience to each individual. You can learn in a relaxed atmosphere at your own rate. So whether you are a complete beginner to photography or have a more advanced level of photographic experience, we believe this photography workshop will be of value to you.
All students receive a full set of detailed notes covering what they have learnt throughout the trip.
If you require accommodation, anywhere close to the town of Brecon will be fine. The meeting point will be in Brecon at the start of each day of the course. Your Accommodation (if needed) is not included in the price of this course.

Each day begins with all course attendees meeting at a pre-arranged point. Transport between the different photographic locations is not included but Steve is happy to car-share if you wish. He will be driving a seven-seater people carrier. However, if you prefer to use your own car throughout the course, the photographic locations are close to each other and this does not involve driving long distances.
